It took me quite a few years to realise how times change in my life. I am the type of person that love well arranged bookshelf. I don't look around the house for my things. I can tell you exactly where what is, a


t any time because, I plan them meticulously.

However, when I got married there was a slight change in that. I discovered that things cannot actually remain the same as it used to be. Am I the only one doing the adjustment? Nope, both I and my wife had to adjust our lives because our unmarried years as singles were a season of life. When we crossed the line of singleness, we entered into another season of life.

When our children were born, a different situation came up. Clearly speaking today, I have to rely on my children to know where what is. Why? They are just too "wonderful" in keeping things in our home. The position of things can change 10 times in 1 hour. I have to bear with them. Times and seasons.

Difficult times and good times are real. There is a season of dreaming for the kind of university we want to attend and there came a time we were finally matriculated into a higher institution of learning. While running the studentship years, we kept looking forward to the graduation time.
In Nigeria, National Service year is a mandatory season of life for all graduates.
This is the unbreakable fact: whatever season you belong in your timeline, it will never be forever. Your earnings now are seasonal and are not expected to be forever. It is expected to improve but not all will improve some will while others will nosedive.

I remembered addressing some Corps members while addressing this subject. I made it very clear that their allowances (popularly called allawee) is for a short time and not forever as some don't realize that early. Twelve months is quite a lot of time to start, do, plan, process and project something worthwhile. However, twelve month is very short compared to your lifetime. Maximize it! Maximize your season!

Reality Wisdom: What we get from each time and season of our lives is a matter of our secret choices. Whatever you choose now will tell on your future.

Re-invention of the future is now.
Perhaps you suddenly wake up to discover that you have made bad choices in the past? You have the privilege of re-inventing the future you desire if you are willing and can make a u-turn.

You Have a Choice
There is a reality of good times and difficult times. If you will ever enjoy good times you must overcome the difficult times. To overcome difficult times, certain things are essential.
Reality Wisdom: You will either suffer the pain of change or suffer for remaining the way you are. but, you cannot suffer twice if you don’t remain the way are.

3 Types of People in relation to your Times and Seasons.
1.  Those who put you into or create difficult times for you. You don't have to run away from them. They help toughen your muscles by solving the problems they put you into.

2.  Those who leave you in difficult times. You shouldn't be offended that they left you in your difficult times. They are never meant to be part of your life from onset but they are so, you need difficult times to separate them from your life. Your difficult times and seasons will always make your true friends to emerge.

3.  Those who help you out of difficult times. They are your true friends. They are the ones that you need to spend more time with. By their supportive lifestyle you can wade through difficult times.
They may not have what you want from them but, there is something that will help you in difficulties they have to offer.
It could be
An Encouragement,
A push for success
A positive attitude
Just a word of comfort
A constant calls to pray for you
A word of prayer.
They could also go as far as giving you financial support
They can provide information that will help you find the best possible solution to your difficulties.

Reality Worksheet 2: Keep your eyes on the situations at hand and your heart on what you need for the future.

Reality Wisdom: The best way to keep your heart on the future is to hand your future over to God. You will never regret it.

The most dreadful mistake is for a man's times and seasons to arrive when he is least expected.
